Gearing Class FRAM II (DDE
Conversions) Color Profiles
We now have full color
profiles for the six ex-DDEs
converted during the FRAM II
modernization program of the
1960s.
The ex-DDE configuration is
represented by the Fred T.
Berry (DD-858) with two twin
5-in. gun mounts, two MK 32
torpedo tube mounts, two
single MK 25 torpedo tube
mounts, one trainable MK 15
Hedgehog mount, tripod
foremast with SPS-6 air
search and SPS-10 surface
search/navigational radars,
ECM electronics mainmast,
and SQS-4 sonar. The
following ships are
available in this
configuration:
